The property overlooks the turquoise waters of Lake Iznajar, sheltering within the mountainous Subbetica Region. From the elevated position, gaze out to the expansive vistas of mountains and across the lake, experience a blissfully un-spoilt panorama of uninterrupted views as far as the eye can see. This very private location is not overlooked by any other property and yet, is only 2 kilometers from the nearest town of Rute.
Rute is located in the heart of the “Golden Triangle” with the major cultural cities of Seville, Granada and Cordoba all within easy reach. Malaga, the beaches and nightlife of the Costa del Sol are similar distances away to the south. Each ancient city offers a unique flavour of authentic Spanish culture. The Malaga / Cordoba motorway is only 13km from the town and gives a fast connection to all of the major cities in southern Spain. The cortijo lies within approximately one hour’s motorway drive from both Malaga’s International Airport and Granada Airport and 2 hours from Seville Airport. Constanza is an ideal location from which to set off to explore and then, after the hustle and bustle of sightseeing, return to relax in our tranquil surroundings.
Access to Cortijo Doña Constanza
On the southern edge of Rute, directly next to the Maria Luisa Hotel there is a well-maintained farm track that heads out from the town. After 1 km the track leads onto a small junction. Cortijo Doña Constanza is off to the left, winding through the olive groves for a further 1 km on our private track.
