We make great efforts at Constanza to reduce our carbon footprint and save energy and fossil fuel.
We utilize the energy from the sun with Solar Photovoltaic panels to produce both our own “off grid” electricity and our hot water supply. We have recently increased the invertors and batteries to provide our guests additional solar power for a more contented stay.
Low energy bulbs are used and we recycle wherever possible. To reduce water consumption we offer showers rather than bathtubs throughout.
Our eco sewage system uses a soak-away.
Thermals from the lake create fabulous cooling breezes that ensure a very pleasant temperature and help to minimize the need for significant A/C usage.
